Carrara Calacata Marble

Carrara calacata

The Carrara marble takes the name from the Mountain Carrara in Italy near Livorno.  for centuries this mountain has supplied the world of this classic material. It is fundamentally a white marble with a gray/black movement more or less present in the stone. Michelangelo’s famous masterpieces David and Pieta were both sculptured out of a variety of a Carrara called Statuario. Veneto Table uses a variety of Carrara from Calacatta to Carrara E depending on our client choice.
