The Carrara marble takes the name from the Mountain Carrara in Italy near Livorno. for centuries this mountain has supplied the world of this classic material. It is fundamentally a white marble with a gray/black movement more or less present in the stone. Michelangelo’s famous masterpieces David and Pieta were both sculptured out of a variety of a Carrara called Statuario.
